The Marc-Vivien Foé prize goes to Seko Fofana.

Seko Fofana of RC Lens earned the RFI-France 24 Marc-Vivien Foé prize for the best African player in Ligue 1 this season on Monday. A jury of 70 persons, including journalists, consultants, and footballers, chose the 27-year-old Ivorian. The Lens player outplayed Hamari Traoré and Nayef Aguerd of Rennes.
Fofana had a fantastic season with the Sang-et-Or, appearing in 40 games and contributing 10 goals and two assists.

The Ivorian international succeeds Gal Kakuta, a colleague at Lens who won the honor previous season.
