LOSC: Jonathan David’s departure is no longer as evident.

Jonathan David’s exit from LOSC at the end of the season is no longer as inevitable as it once was, according to the publication L’Équipe. The 22-year-old Canadian striker, who has a contract with Lille until 2025, may be able to stay in the North this summer. Several English teams, notably Arsenal and Newcastle, are keeping an eye on the Canadian international, who will represent his country in the next World Cup.
On Saturday (3-1), the Lille native scored twice against Nice, ending a long period of dormancy in which he had not scored since early March.

Jonathan David has played 47 games for the Dogues this season, scoring 19 goals in a difficult year for his club
